a little bit about me

My name is Meg - I’m a visual artist & photographer based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

These roots stretch from the rural hills of eastern Ohio where I spent the majority of my childhood barefooted, outside, and with a relentless curiosity for everything. No really, e v e r y t h i n g. Eager to find my path and hit the road running, I headed west. I graduated with an AAB in Advertising Art and have since directed my focus and almost 10 years of experience to a variety of multi-media avenues from photography, film-making and implemented design to creative direction, marketing and an exploration into environmental journalism and science communication. 

I love to explore and explore creatively. I love to seek out texture, authentic experiences, bright energy and human connection. My ultimate goal is to prompt the same curiosity, the same driving appetite for the who and why and that immediate swell of inspiration, in others that I feel with every project, client and subject matter. I approach my work with an editorial eye and am inspired by movement, light and stories.

Both in and outside of my work, I am incredibly passionate about our role here on earth, progressive conservation and the tie that holds us all together. I love to sip fruit Gose, rewatch Tarantino and Ghibli movies for the fortieth time over and play in the dirt. I love escaping to the middle of nowhere whenever I can, learning something new everyday and am easily distracted by birds.
